LOMO ou Leningradskoye Optiko Mechanichesckoye Obyedinenie (União de Óptica Mecânica de Leningrado) é um fabricante de equipamentos ópticos em São Petersburgo, Rússia. Foi fundada em 1914, e foi a maior empresa óptica da União Soviética. Começou a produzir câmaras em 1930.

As lentes das câmaras LOMO são consideradas das melhores do mundo, devido em grande parte à areia utilizada na fabricação das mesmas.

Atualmente, as câmeras LOMO são objetos de culto, e originaram uma comunidade internacional de seguidores, a Sociedade Lomográfica Internacional.

A lomografia é considerada um modo de vida. Os lomográfos convivem com um conjunto de dez regras básicas para este tipo de fotografia:

01. Leva a tua Lomo onde quer que vás.
02. Usa-a a qualquer hora do dia ou da noite.
03. A Lomografia não interfere na tua vida, torna-se parte dela.
04. Aproxima-te o mais possível do objeto a fotografar.
05. Não penses... lomografa.
06. Seja rápido.
07. Não precisas saber antecipadamente o que fotografaste.
08. Nem depois.
09. Fotografa a qualquer ângulo.
10. Não te preocupes com quaisquer regras.
